If your boat sits too far back on your trailer, it may not fit in your garage or storage space, and it can throw the boat off balance or leave it positioned incorrectly on the trailer.
The factory angled winch stand on your Shoreland'r trailer can usually be adjusted by sliding it forward on the trailer tongue. But if there's no room left at the front of the tongue, your adjustment options run out.
Our zero-angle design is more upright compared to the factory angled stand, and shifts the position of the winch stand roller or Drotto latch forward an additional 4–5" on your trailer, giving you the clearance you need.
Also, the jack stand on the factory winch stand can only be mounted on one side. This winch stand includes a reversible jack mounting plate, so you can install the jack on either the left or right side of the trailer.
Which size do I need?
- Measure the length of the flat edge on the front of your factory winch stand (the side closest to the front of the trailer).
- Measure from the trailer tongue upward to the position of the highest mounting bolt where the winch arm connects.
- This length should be either 7" (Shoreland'r part TA0993), 9" (Shoreland'r part TA0991), or 14" (Shoreland'r part TA0992)
- Choose the Drotto Zero Angle winch stand that matches your length and color
Kit includes:
- Zero angle winch stand in Black Powder Coat or Silver Zinc finish
- Matching reversible jack plate to be installed on either port or starboard side
- Two bolts to install jack plate to the winch stand
- No other mounting hardware included – you will need to use your factory hardware to attach the winch arm to this stand, and to install the winch stand to your trailer tongue
This part is a compatible replacement for Shoreland'r parts:
- TA0993 series 7" winch stand
- TA0991 series 9" winch stand
- TA0992 series 14" winch stand
